Name: GREG MADIGAN
General Manager – Sales & Marketing
Greg recently arrived at PSW to head the sales and marketing department after 3.5 years as Executive Director – Marketing, Industry and International Partnerships at Melbourne Polytechnic.
Married to wife Donna, they have 3 daughters – twins Keeley & Ella (22) and Jasmine (18), he grew up in Bulleen and went through St Clements P.S. and Marcellin College before completing his undergrad (B.A. Recreation) at R.M.I.T. and then his MBA at Monash University in 2014.
Residing in Mont Albert North , Greg is a keen golfer and a member at Latrobe G.C. Whilst golf is the only sport he now participates in, he is a member of both the M.C.C. and V.R.C., and enjoys watching most of what Melbourne offers up in sport and is a keen follower of sports worldwide. Aside from the sport, he started learning to play guitar two years ago and now spends many hours practicing that.
Growing up, Greg barracked for Hawthorn F.C. and still does. Between 1986 – 1994 he was an integral part of the Hawthorn F.C. and had ultimate success playing in the 1989 Premiership win against Geelong. In 1995, together with wife Donna, he moved to W.A. where he played for the Fremantle Dockers F.C. from 1995 – 1997.
During his time in the west, Greg started work for Lion Nathan and returned to Melbourne with them in 1998. In 2012 after 16 years with Lion, he moved to Schweppes and 4 years later took up the role at Melbourne Polytechnic.
Ironically, his first full-time job was with a business supplying sports uniforms to Victorian schools, so he now finds himself having gone full circle as General Manager – Sales and Marketing at PSW.
